This 12-story (35,000 SF) high-rise is to be located in downtown Asheville. Its composition suggests the tall, slender structures of the city skyline and historic structures such as the Jackson Building on Pack Square. The building’s brick skin responds to the downtown context, while the vocabulary and detailing are unabashedly modern.

The condominiums, with plans for a U.S. Green Building Council LEED certification, will offer many additional “green” features, including solar thermal panels, radiant floor heating, a roof water collection system, low E glass, water-conserving fixtures, and Asheville’s first green roof. Building materials are being sourced locally and the building will feature the work of local Asheville artisans.
